Yuet Lee is a business and technology consultant focusing on clean tech projects. He is currently advising startup companies in the energy efficiency and green building industry sectors. He is also serving as a member of the Venture Advisory Board at i-GATE (an innovation hub), advisor to startups and incubators, and as the National Mentor Program Chair for the Cleantech Open (an startup accelerator for clean tech companies).
Yuet has over 25 years of achievement in technology and business for the communications industry, drawing on his strength in technology knowledge, expertise in forging strategic business relationships in complex technical environments, and ability to negotiate and close commercial deals and investment terms. In his last and most recent corporate role, he led business development for Nortel - evaluating technologies and products in wireless, optical, IP, enterprise data, and security, as well assessing business opportunities, building business cases, closing partnerships and investments with external companies. At Pacific Bell/SBC (now ATT) prior to Nortel, he managed successful introductions of broadband/IP networks, directed network architecture planning activities and the data product verification laboratory. He started his career leading network planning and engineering at Bell Labs/Bellcore.
Yuet has a Ph. D. in Mathematics from MIT and has also completed an executive management program at the Kellogg Business School.
